Etude House “Hello Pumpqueen” eyeshadow palette

I just couldn’t resist buying this limited edition (I assume) eyeshadow palette from Etude House. I’ve been wanting to get some more orange apricot toned eye shadows and this is a perfect palette for that. The palette is very small, it fits in my hand, which was a bit of a let-down to be honest. But the palette is very cute and I’m so excited about the new make up looks I can create with this new palette!

I love the name “Hello Pumpqueen”, it’s so cute! I’m sad I didn’t get it before Halloween but I’m sure I’ll get a lot of usage of this palette for fall. It even has a gel eyeliner in dark brown which can be smudged out to get a very cute smokey eye.

ETUDE HOUSE Color in Liquid Lips Review and Swatches

Etude House launched their new thing for summer – Color in Liquid Lips!
It is “A melted liquefied lipstick with the intense color and high shine to make provocative yet lovely sheer lips. The cushiony water-sliding texture makes lips look supple and hydrated.”

The liquid lipsticks are sure watery and go on the lips very smoothly. So far I think the Product is very similar to the Too Faced Melted Lipsticks. This is sure a cheaper option. I own one of the Too Faced Melted Lipsticks, in the shade “Melted Nude” which I love!
This is a cheaper alternative, I am however not sure if the colors are dupes to the Too Faced Melted Lipstick colors.

The reason I got these Color in Liquid Lips in such bright colours is that I have been watching a lot of the korean drama The Producer lately and I’m in love with the main character Cindy (played by IU) has the most prettiest but also sassy lipcolor. So to create that lipcolour I bought these two shades (#PP501 Purple in Candy and #PK009 Pink in Monster) to mix in order to create her lip makeup look for the drama. The “Monster” shade is a deeper berrytoned pink and the shade “Candy” is a Bright candyfloss pink shade.

Etude House is a great make up brand and this product does not disappoint!

TONY MOLY TOP Perfect Lip’s Lip Hyuna (현아) Lipsticks review

The korean singer Kim Hyun Ah (김현아), from the kpop band 4minute, has come together with the make-up brand Tony Moly to design 2 lipsticks for their new Perfect Lip’s Lip-line. The two shades are RD003 and RD005 and both of them are stunning red shades as Hyuna is famous for her sultry lips in her Music videos and performances in the past.

As soon as I saw these had been released I ordered the two shades marked as “Hyuna’s Pick” and they arrived in my mailbox the other day. I’m very satisfied with the shades and I definitely want to wear either one of these next time I go out or am dressing up for something. The shades are named after her songs but also one is just named “Hyuna’s Red”. The one on the right in the Picture below is inspired by her lipcolour in the musicvideo for her song “Red / 빨개요” and the one on the left is the one inspired by the lipstick she wears often which is a bit darker.

The Heirs (상속자들) Park Shin Hye/Cha Eun-sang outfit

I just starter re-watching the Korean drama serie The Heirs. I love the drama and today I actually went out dressed as Park Shin Hye’s character in the drama.

Spring make-up 2015

 
I warched the movie G.B.F (Gay Best Friend) recently and got inspired by the character Fawcett Brooks’ (played by Sasha Pieterse) make-up.

I tried to re-create and adapt the look for me and spring 2015.

Eyes: I used the Lorac Mega Pro Palette. For the inner half of my eyelids I used the colour “White” and for the outer side and crease I used a mix of the colors “Blush” and “Orchid”

Eyebrows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in “medium brown”

Face(in order of usage): Too Faced Hangover RX primer, Aritaum Pore Master, IOPE Perfect Skin base in “green” The Face Shop Power Perfection BB cream in “01 light beige” and I finished off with a bit of Innisfree’s No-Sebum Mineral Powder.

For concealer I used The Saem cover perfection tip concealer in “01 clear beige” and I used Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in the shade “Fair” for under my eyes. 

For contour I used my Etude House Aloha Bronzer in the shade “01 Wood Brown”.

Blush: Milani Baked Powder Blush in “Luminoso”

Lipstick: MAC lipstick “Angel”

  For a Kylie Jenner esque look;

* Naked2 palette eyeshadows “Tease” in the crease and “Foxy” on the lid and below the eyebrow for highlight 

* Naked2 lipliner – I love this, this is so amazing

* Mac viva glam 2 lipstick (it’s the nude shade

* Anastasia dipbrow pomade – in the shade “medium brown”/ Anastasia brow duo in “medium brown” for a more natural look

* The Face Shop power Perfection BB cream in the shade “01 light beige”

Another fab make up look;

* MAC Matchmaster foundation (my shade is 1.0, I’m very pale)

* Too Faced Semi-Sweet Palette “coconut cream” as a base, “peanut” in the crease and “nutmeg” on te eyelid. Complete the look with the glittery pink in the middle of the lid and winged eyeliner

* Milani Blush in the shade “Romantic Rose”

* Naked2 lipliner on the upper lip(fill it in)

* Naked (yep I have both of the Naked lipliners) lipliner on the bottom lip (also fill that in)

Also side note;

I’m getting lots of compliments on my perfume lately. My favourite perfume that I wear almost every day lately is Viktor & Rolf Bonbon. It smells so delicious~ both men and women compliment on it so it’s popular both among boys and girls 😉

Etude House, Evas, Milani, NYX reviews

I got some stuff in the mail today that I thought I should Review from you guys. I know it’s a fast review after the purchase of the products, but all of these I’ve used previously (in other shades for the NYX and Milani products).

Etude House Brush Shower Cleaner
I like this product, it’s not pricey and it does a good job at cleaning make-up brushes. However, you might have to apply the product onto the brushes several times (depending on how dirty your make-up brushes are) to get them properly cleaned. This is my third bottle of this product that I’ve purchased  since last year. I like Etude House brush cleaner and it’s a great alternative that is cheaper than a lot of other brands brush cleaning products.
My grade for this product: 4/5

Evas Vitamin Hand handcream (lemon flavour)
I’ve noticed since january that my hands are getting dry from the cold weather that is still going strong in Sweden. The size of the product and my previous love for Vitamin Water was my main reason for buying this. It’s 100ml, which is great for carrying in my handbag that I use everyday. I’ve never had issues with dry hands when I was younger but the last few years I’ve had moments were my hands get really dry, sometimes for days. The lemon scent is very soft and the cream feels full moisturises without getting greasy on your hands. I would definitely try the other scents of this product too. It also exists in the flavours cherry and avocado. As far as I know, this is a South korean product.

Milani Powder Blush (01 Romantic Rose)
This product is so Beautiful. I’ve seen a few Beauty guru’s review this product (I clearly remember watching this review by Tati last year) and the final straw that led me to buy it was seeing another youtuber I like using it recently. I have pale skin, so does she so I assumed this colour would look as great on me as it does on her.The name of the colour is very cute, the colour is stunning and really reminds me of shades of roses I’ve seen in the past. I’m very excited to use this. I’ve previously used the Milani Baked Blush in the shade “Luminoso”) and absolutely love it so I’m sure I will love this one as well. Below you can see a swatch I did of this product on my hand.
My grade for this product: 5/5 (might chang this when I’vee used it for a longer time, stay tuned)

NYX Butter Gloss (BLG15 Angel Food Cake)
I adore the NYX Butter Glosses! I own three other shades since previously and he shade of this one sounded so good and looked nice too, I just had to buy it. You can see the swatch of the shade above  on the picture of my hand over the swatch of the Milani Blush. Very pretty colour. I thought it would be a more nude shade but I definitely like this. These are myfavourite glosses since they don’t feel sticky on your lips. Awesome. I had a phase of disliking wearing lipglosses before trying this and now I’m sold.

WHAT’S IN MY BAG may 2014

Rêve de miel stick lèvres hydrant

I couldn’t resist buying this. The lip balm tastes a bit like lemon air freshener, which is a bit of a con to me, but otherwise this is a great hydrating lip balm. My lips are feeling dry in this sure heat so I’m doing all I can to keep them hydrated. I’ve heard good things about the brand and specifically the lip balm so I thought it was time to try it out~~

Mamonde eye cream, EVO Easy Tiger and Mise en scène perfect repair

Since it’s getting warmer in Korea and also this weekend it’s been warm and raining and windy, my hair and my skin has been reacting. Here in Korea when it rains everyone is carrying an umbrella, not only does this make it annoying walking down the street because everyone’s umbrellas are hitting each other but also some don’t see where they are aiming it, so now it’s risky walking the streets because someone might hit you in the face with their umbrellas. The reason for everyone carrying an umbrella is since the air is so polluted from the yellow dust blowing over from China, also the rain is polluted and even many people say it makes you lose more hair/go bald if you don’t use an umbrella. I myself even noticed that I would have, ore hair fallouts if I didn’t use an umbrella on a rainy day during my first 6 months in Korea.
Also the last days I haven’t been able to find my eye cream in my room, so I went shopping.

I bought:
* EVO Easy Tiger straightening balm (my hair goes crazy from this humidity)
* Mamonde Nutrition Lifting Eye cream
* Mise en scène (미쟝센) perfect repair serum (for hair, in korean it’s called “퍼펙트 세럼”

What I just received in the mail

I just woken up and realised that I just received the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation in the shade #51 Light Vanilla. I’m so excited to try this product out, in haven’t used a foundation in years since I found out about BB cream when I was like 20 years old I haven’t really used a foundation since unless I 0376 left my make up bag at home when going on a trip etc, and always I’ve felt like foundation ends up disappointing me and BB cream usually doesn’t.
It took two of my favourite beauty gurus on YouTube (Arden Rose and Essiebutton) recommending this to make me buy and try it out. I find that usually I fit everything that Essiebutton recommends cause we have the same kind of pale complexion and brown hair so I decided trying it out in the same shade that she uses.
